Preliminary Ideas

Learn about the regulations that apply in PH now and explore what might be appropriate ways to implement the recommendations in the Poncey-Highland Master Plan.

We’ll:

• Look at existing zoning, allowed heights, the current process for renovating or building something new.

• Explore the Poncey-Highland Master Plan, especially recommendations within it that could be regulated through the use of a historic district.

• Workstations around preliminary ideas for the proposed historic district:

  • Subareas

  • Resource protection

  • Permitted uses

  • Building types

  • Etc.

• Take a visual preferences survey based on the images collected during the Walk + Talk on 9/7.
