Howdy, campers! You’re invited to participate in the fourth annual Camp Poncey-Hi, a summer camp for residents of all ages in Atlanta’s most fun and adventurous neighborhood, Poncey-Highland!
This event series offers something for everyone: fun and games for families, boozy parties for grown-ups and educational events for anyone who likes to learn. Some events are free, while others serve as fundraisers for PHNA.
This summer, we’re celebrating with a special Olympic Edition! Expect food, drink and fun inspired by countries around the world. Join us for one, two, or more events. Most events are limited in capacity. Tickets will launch in early July!

Kid Olympics
Attention Poncey-Hi kids and families! Get ready for our very first Kid Olympics, a free and exciting field day celebration where neighborhood children can proudly represent their streets in friendly competition. Show your street spirit by bringing homemade decorated signs! Let the games begin!
Date: Saturday, July 13 - 2:30PM- 4:30PM
Location: Poncey-Highland Playground- Meet in the grassy area behind the playground. Be sure to bring homemade signs decorated with your street name! Parents, please bring chairs, picnic blankets and coolers to spectate.
Cost: Free! Registration required. Complimentary popsicles will be served

Opening Cocktail Party
Kick off the camp season with flair at the Hotel Clermont Rooftop! Soak in the town's best sunset view while savoring a complimentary drink and delicious tacos. This event is the perfect opportunity to mingle with neighbors and enjoy great company.

Move like Messi, Soccer Clinic for Kids by Kids!
8-year-old soccer fanatics Teddy and Charlotte will lead a fun soccer clinic for kids teaching their best tips and tricks. Snacks and beverages will be provided for athletes and spectating parents!

Location: The Wicks Pitch- Head on down the driveway and down the stairs to the yard!

Drag Queen Bingo
Get ready for the most glamorous, hilarious and exciting game of Bingo you've ever played. Families are welcome. Snacks and beverages will be provided. Bring your own picnic blankets or lawn chairs.

Beltline Bike Tour
Learn about the Beltline's past, present, and future while biking the Eastside Trail with Atlanta Beltline Partnership Executive Director, Rob Brawner. Leisurely paced with multiple stops. BYOB: Bring Your Own Bike.

Sound Bath Meditation
Join us for a tranquil sound bath meditation experience facilitated by neighbor Yusuf Corley. Immerse yourself in a symphony of soothing sounds, including crystal singing bowls, chimes, and other therapeutic instruments. Let the vibrations wash over you, harmonizing your mind, body, and spirit for deep relaxation and healing.

Yoga Mat or Cushion: To sit or lie on during the meditation.
Blanket or Shawl: For comfort during the relaxation period.
Hydration: Staying hydrated is essential for overall well-being.
Journal and Pen: Optional, for writing down any insights or reflections post-meditation.
Eye Mask or Scarf: For blocking out light and enhancing the meditative experience.
Comfortable Clothing: Wear loose, comfortable clothing that allows for ease of movement and relaxation.

Paris in Poncey-Hi Wine Social
Join us to celebrate the Summer Olympics in Paris with a delightful French Wine Social! This festive gathering will feature wine pairings and snacks that are perfect for toasting the spirit of the games. Show off your Olympic spirit by dressing up as your favorite Olympic sport. Whether you come as a graceful gymnast, soccer star or fierce fencer, let your creativity shine! Extra points will be awarded for those bold enough to don a Speedo!

Cornhole, Cava & Kaas Feest
Celebrate Catalan and Dutch culture at the Cornhole, Cava & Kaas Feest! Delight in a variety of delectable snacks and beverages from both regions! While you savor these treats, enjoy friendly competition with a game of cornhole!

Good Morning from Poncey-Hi Yoga
Start your day with Poncey-Hi neighbor and yoga instructor Kathryn Hays who will lead participants in Highland Yoga’s signature Breath to Movement flow featuring creative, easy-to-follow sequences designed to get your sweating in a moving meditation. All levels welcome!
Kathryn Hays started practicing yoga in 2011, completed her RYT 200 in April 2022, and began teaching at Highland Yoga in July 2022. Kathryn enjoys deepening her own personal practice and the opportunity to create space where others can connect with themselves and their own practice in a way that feels safe, authentic, and open.

Trees Atlanta Garden & Nature Walk
Join us for a guided tour through the Poncey-Highland Forest. Nature enthusiasts will meet at the Levine Greenhouse for some summer wine and then meander throughout the neighborhood marveling at the greenery. Beware of wildlife, mosquito spray is recommended.

Augtober Fest

Backyard Bollywood

Closing Ceremony Jamboree
Camp Poncey-Hi wraps up with a non-stop fun block party featuring live music, a silent auction offering amazing prizes, fun athletic activities for kids organized by ContactPoint and plenty of Olympic spirit! Delicious crepes, treats, beverages and limited edition Poncey-Highland merchandise will be available for purchase. Come to support the neighborhood. Stay for the fun!
